File consists of correspondence with people who have surnames from Hugh-Jones to Jones, related to the seminar on, "The MRC Epidemiology Unit (South Wales)", which was held at the Wellcome Institute on 23 March 1999. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The transcript of the seminar on, "The MRC Epidemiology Unit (South Wales)", together with the additional interview extracts, plus selected material from the "Pneumoconiosis in Coal Workers" seminar which took place on 9 November 1994, were published together as Volume 13 of the Witness Seminar series, A.R. Ness, L.A. Reynolds and E.M. Tansey (editors), Population-based Research in South Wales: The MRC Pneumoconiosis Research Unit and the MRC Epidemiology Unit, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2002).
