    Biographical note

    Noteworthy Families contained biographical summaries of families of Fellows of the Royal Society, compiled from data collected by Galton through the circulation of the "Ability in Families" schedules. Work on the publication was aided by staff at the Eugenic Research Office, Edgar Schuster [Galton Research Fellow] and Ethel Elderton [Secretary, later Research Scholar].
