<p>First day cover envelope issued by the Royal Mail Group Ltd. for stamps issued on the 8th of January 1987. The design shows the red hand of Ulster on a star under a crown. In this instance no stamps have been used. The envelope was used on the 7th January 1987 and bears the cancellation stamp: AIDS, don't die of ignorance. It contains a 'stiffener' card which gives information about definitive stamps for Scotland.</p>
