Description

Photograph of pages from a diary belonging to Aspley Cherry-Gerard (1886-1959) during his search for Robert Falcon Scott (1868-1912) during the Terra Nova Expedition (British Antarctic Expedition) 1910-1913. The diary pages are mounted on a display board with the caption "My Diary of the Search Party. A. C-G" and were exhibited by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The item was part of a polar exhibition held in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum's central hall in July 1930.
