Pregnant Mares' Serum - PMS- veterinary, a highly purified product prepared from serum obtained from pregnant mares. The chief use of PMS is for the treatment of anoestrus of heifers during the winter months when ovarian activity is frequently completely suspended. It has been used for infertility in the bull. Issued in containers of 1500 I.U.
