Description

Programmes for three lectures on heredity and nature, given by Francis Galton at the South Kensington Museum on 26 November, 03 December and 10 December 1887:

Lecture I: Observed diversity in the bodily and mental characteristics of individuals. Anthropometric tests, and Records of Life-histories.

Lecture II: Limits to the inheritance of ancestral peculiarities, and to the hereditary transmission of disease. Individual variation.

Lecture III: Influences of various kinds of Nurture, Training, and Occupation on the average vigour, longevity, and disposition, of large classes of persons. Recapitulation and Suggestions.

There are three copies of each programme, plus three copies of the general advertisement.
