Description

The two characters perform a scene on a very detailed and furnished stage set. Amateur drag depicted without location on a British photographic postcard. One performer wears high fashion women's clothes and shoes ca. 1918, while the other is in hastily improvised costume with a headscarf and carpet slippers. A notice on stage left set says "Oratio est argentum" (Latin, "Speech is silver")
