About this work

Description

"This collection of photographs is intended to provide a view of the contemporary practice of physiology in medical education and research...The collection spans a twenty-five year period ... Most of the pictures however, were taken during the last seven years and are the results of formal photographic assignments to physiological institutions around the country...." [Rosenberg M, Catalogue (2000) at SA/PHY/Z/3/5/1].

The Catalogue held at SA/PHY/Z/3/5/1 contains a detailed list of all photographs taken by Rosenberg between 1977 and 2001. It is ordered chronologically and contains the particulars of each image including its negative/transparency sheet and frame numbers. This list should be used to discover the full details of images in the rest of the files in this sub-series.

The images in this sub-series have been arranged by Rosenberg in groupings based on image type and size rather than content. Therefore there are links between many of the files with, for example, the negative and photograph of an image being held separately. There may also be links with images elsewhere in the series.
