Figure of Apis, a healing divinity and one to whom the origin of medicine was ascribed. The item was purchased at auction in 1924 by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1927 (accession numbers R28470 and R62/1945). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
