Photograph showing the 3/4 end view of a sixteenth century 'luxation' traction table, also referred to as the scamnum or Hippocratic bench, obtained from a monastery of Pennabilli, Italy, in 1923, where was it was used as a refectory table. The photograph is recorded as taken by "SH" in the M Series register, and shows the table in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum.
