Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Extravagant amateur drag or fancy dress, photographed against a sylvan glade backdrop at the Parisian School of Photography's studio, in London's Old Kent Road. Traditionally a rough and ready working-class area, it is not the kind of place one might expect to encounter young men like this dressed like a French tart, the glittery lamé frock slashed to the thigh. An amateur theatrical performer perhaps?"
This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
