Description
The Littlewood Committee was a Home Office departmental committee, chaired by Sir Sydney Littlewood, established to consider the existing system of control of animal experiments and to recommend any necessary changes. Its report in March 1965, put forward a number of recommendations but no legislation followed to put these into action.
