Description

Reproduction of a photograph of the former residence of Francis Adams (1796-1861) in Banchory-Ternan, Aberdeenshire. There is a handwritten, partially cropped, caption underneath the photograph which reads "Banchory-Ternan (now demolished). According to the M series register, the reproduction is from a photograph given to Dr Singer in 1919 by Dr Hardy, who married the grand-daughter of Adams.
