Description

Torticollis of various kinds (continued from my copy of R Cruchet's book on 'Tic Convulsif 1902') (Second series) including torticollis of nasal or pharangeal origin (Maladie de Grisel, etc). Also some disorders of gaits and 'bizarre gaits' (including 'dysplasia lordotica' and retro-collic spasm) which may be due to encephalitis lethargica (or epidemic encephalitis) eg case of Vernon Askell. Spastic conditions of chronic (or post) encephalitis. Also various cases of intention tremor and chorea-like conditions and spasmodic dyskinesias (torsion-spasm etc) of organic nervous origin, such as in the patient Virgo [includes separate envelope of material on this case]. Also tic-like and spasmodic and other movements connected with encephalitis--of encephalitic origin. Also tertiary syphilitic chorea (for comparison)
