Extracts (photocopies) from the personal diary of N G Heatley for the period 3 Jul to 15 Dec 1941 (although the narrative begins on 27th Jun).

Describes visits to institutions and laboratories in the USA with Florey and Heatley's work at the US Department of Agriculture's Northern Regional Research Laboratory in Peoria, Illinois, where his assigned collaborator was A J Moyer. Heatley worked there 14 Jul-30 Nov 1941.

The original typed version of these extracts (donated to the Wellcome Library in 2004) has been added to the file.
