Black and white reproduction of a watercolour illustration of "Cinchona Peruviana" with annotations, sent from José Celestino Mútis (1732-1808) to Carl Linnaeus or Carl von Linne (1707–1778) dated September 1764. The watercolour was reproduced as part of the facsimiles exhibited in Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930 hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The facsimile is listed as exhibit no. 875 in the souvenir catalogue. The original watercolour is held by The Linnean Society, London.
