Eefuse to Vote for any Candidate who will not piedgeTiirS- f to use every effort to promote the Repeal of the Contagious seases Acts of 1866 and 1869, and to prevent any attempt • the part of the Government, or the Privy Council, to a^Dply lilar Laws to your Town. Whatever corrupts the morals of the community, and is ^ considered to be too indecent to be made Law, cannot be it for Electors and Non-Electors to know and to denounce. The Acts are now in force in 18 English and 3 Irish Towns, a wide circle round those Towns, and great efforts are still ng made by persons high in office to apply these, or similar ^s, to the whole country! They hope to do this by the p of Mayors, Aldermen, Town Councillors, Boards of Guar- as, and other local office-bearers in large towns. As you love ir country,—as you value Religion, Morality, Justice, and sdom from a hateful and un-English system of Police Spies )lam clothes,—Vote only for the Candidate who will pledge iself to the Total Repeal of these Acts.
