Professor Elliott was a Wellcome Trustee (1936-1955) and at some time during this period it is possible that he gave various miscellaneous papers to the Library of the Wellcome Institiute for the History of Medicine. Small groups of material have been located in the Institute, and as they have appeared have been placed together in the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre.

Acc 115 consisted originally of four box files which had been acquired by Dr. E. Ashworth Underwood as Director of the Institute.

Acc 124 were located in the bookstack.

Acc 144 were located amongst uncatalogued autograph letter material: they had a library accession number 314070 and were accessioned in 1967 but there is no note of provenance.

1919 CBE. Returned to UCH as Consulting Physician & helped build up medical school.
