Description

Letters to Cantlie, some as co-editor of the Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, with occasional items of correspondence and a few notes to other persons, notably Ernest Abraham Hart (1835-98) and Patrick Manson (1844-1902). Various authors including several items by Charles Lindsay Wattie (1846-88) M.D., acting as a surgeon with the Turkish Army, and Archibald Watson (1849-1940) of Adelaide University. Single and copy letters by the Chinese statesmen Li Hung Chang (1823-1901) and Sun Yat Sen (1867-1925).
