Description
The text is neatly written in the same elegant handwriting throughout. The writer's name is not stated. For another commentary on the Aphorisms, see MS. No. 99. The full title of the work here commented upon is: Aphorismi de Cognoscendis et Curandis Morbis, in Usum Doctrinæ Domesticœ Digesti ab Hermanno Boerhaave, Lugduni Batavorum, MDCCIX. The first edition contains 1479 Aphorisms, but in the later editions the number was increased to 1495 by the addition of two sections, Rachitis and Rheumatismus. This manuscript follows the later editions.
