About this work
Description
The Healthcare Efficiency Though Technology (HETT) Expo was launched in 2011 and brings together “those across the healthcare sector involved in digital health and enabling patient centred care through information and technology”, including technology suppliers, manufacturers, service providers and health service staff. The Commissioning in Healthcare (CiH) show was launched in 2013 and has been co-located with HETT each year since; it brings “those leading the commissioning agenda together to share the latest policy, innovation and best practice.”
This collection aims to provide a snapshot of the shows, gathering a broad range of representative literature from exhibitors. The material includes promotional leaflets, equipment catalogues, brochures, briefings and other policy documents, and some electronic resources including DVDs and USB sticks. Subjects and themes include: digital working and the paperless office; managing patient data and electronic records; use of mobile technology such as smartphones for medical consultations; technologies to streamline working, such as voice recognition software; and furniture manufactured for healthcare settings.
