Description

A reproduction of a photograph of a bronze figure of Bodhisattva Padmapani, one of the favoured forms of Avalokiteshvara, the earthly manifestation of the self-born eternal Buddha Amitabha. Padmapani was seen as the embodiment of Buddhist compassion and is known as the lotus bearer. A lotus stem can be seen held in his hand.
