I/'/hen a Warminster resident dies in any hospital outside the district he is still regarded, for statistical purposes, as being a resident of Warminster and is included in the Warminster figures. Since 1953 all deaths in hospitals for the chronic sick and mental and mental deficiency hospitals have been assigned to the area of the hospital, whether or not the patients had originally been admitted from that area.
