Fraxinus excelsior (Ash)

Slender branches with massed pinnately divide of green leaves. The wood is used in carpentry and was believed to be an antidote to viper venom. Contains secoiridoid glucosides. Seeds contain edible oil and leaves and fruit have been used as a mild purgative.
