About this work

Description

Documents relating to the administration of the estate of Sir Rochester Carr, younger son of Sir Edward Carr (d. 1618). Rochester Carr had been declared a lunatic in 1637. The documents comprise annual accounts of John Burslem, who was responsible for collecting the lunatic's revenues and paying his maintenance, with supporting documentation, submitted to the Lord Chancellor.
