Instruction leaflet accompanying the Electrological Institute's Pulvelec medical electricity battery. It was promoted as curing: alopecia, acne, anaemia, faulty blood circulation, bladder and kidney troubles, constipation, indigestion, gastritis, muscular atrophy, neuritis, sciatica, neuralgia, neurasthenia, nervous exhaustion, paralysis, paraplegia, hemiplegia, spinal cord disorders, rheumatism, lumbago, arthritis, gout, nasal catarrh and middle ear catarrh. The Institute was based at 58 Ludgate Hill, London, E.C.4. This may have been issued around 1890 when the firm was based there.
