The troupe of Royal Midgets : including Madam Tom Thumb.

Postcard (probably about 1905) showing two male and three female midgets in formal dress with a fully grown man standing behind them in front of a painted backdrop with classical columns and ferns. It is not clear whether "Madam Tom Thumb" is the same person as "Mrs. Tom Thumb", wife of "General Tom Thumb". The card would probably have been sold as a souvenir at places where they were exhibited as part of a freak or variety show.
