On the addition of a folution of mu- riated barytes, a cloudinefs immediately took place, not however to a greater de¬ gree in one than in the other. EXPERIMENT THE EIGHTH. Nitrous folution of filver occafioned at once an evident precipitation. The precipitate was at firll; of a pearl-colour, but, on remaining expofed to the light for a few hours, it became of a muddy blue. In neither of thefe refpedts was , / there any diftindtion to be obferved.
