Description
Prof. Scott Woodward (Brigham Young University, U.S.), the first scientist to find DNA in a dinosaur bone, describes his 2-year project on the Pharaonic dynasty; he will collect about 500 specimens of DNA from the mummified corpses of pharaohs in order to discover why the royal line died out. The process of extracting and examining the DNA is shown, involving the polymerase chain reaction.
