Lindsay, John (1789-1870)

Extracts from the Irish Annals on comets, eclipses and other celestial phaenomena, storms, etc., earthquakes, floods, droughts, plagues, famines, etc.: with notes on the chronology of ancient Irish history, a list of the Kings of Ireland, and of the Baronies of Ireland, and their ancient names, etc. The latest date in the text is 1867 on p. 20. The entries are set out in tabular form. Produced in Cork.

Purchased 1919.

The author was a numismatist, who was born and died at Cork: this MS. is almost certainly not holograph.
