Illustrated with pen-drawn diagrams and calligraphic initials, and having the title within a decorated panel: the whole work is a very fine example of 18th century round hand.

Part I contains the numbers from 1 to 9.

The author describes himself as 'Canonico di Bergamo'.

The work was first printed in 1583.
