Description
The depressed British industries on the left, suffering from free trade, include "Nail works closed", "Glass works closed", "A mine to let", "Agriculture". The foreign imports on the right, being offered by national personifications, include "American watches clock[s]", "Sweedish doors", "Belgian tiles", "Sugar", "French glass, clocks, hardware, furniture &c. &c. &c.", "Namur cutlery", "Russian corn", "German goods cheap & nasty"
