Description

This film illustrates various methods of sterilisation for the total abolition of germs from every surface and material which approaches the field of operation. Techniques shown include the use of an autoclave, sterilising using boiling water, boiling oil, a naked flame, antiseptics, paraform vapour and dry heat. We also see at the end how a patient is prepared for an operation on the knee.
