The frequency of the records at different times in the year is represented in the curves on p. 9. The upper curve gives the number of records for the entire coast-line. The smaller curve gives the number of specimens recorded merely as “ Porpoises,” or of which the total length did not exceed five and a half feet, .stranded on the East coast of England, as far South as the Straits of Dover, during July to November. f Recorded by Mr. W.
