About this work

Description

The skin of a flayed human figure with arms hanging loose. Similar to the flayed human figures which hang down from the top of banners painted with attributes of Tibetan protector deities (rgyan tshogs banners). There they illustrate events (torture and death) against which the help of the Protector is requested
