Lettering on the lettered state of this print says "Engraved by C. Picart from an original drawing by J. Wright", but the composition is of John Opie's painted portrait of Bernard that was presented to The Foundling Hospital (of which Bernard had been the treasurer) in 1939. "J. Wright" may be T. (Thomas) Wright (1792-1849) who lived near the Foundling Hospital at 3 Foundling Terrace, Gray's Inn Road
