About this work

Description

A film about framing a patient consultation to get the best out of the session. The doctor asks a number of questions about the patient including her age, whether she is married and what does she do. It is emphasised that the doctor should make the patient at ease and aim for the correct linguistic level for the discussion by listening first and then identify the principle problem. The patient is asked at length about her menstrual cycle, her bowel movements and sexual habits (she has a 'perfectly normal married life').
