Description

This is a video made about a training exercise in which international sales agents were sent out to Gambia and asked to model the experience of applying and using the equipment and products distributed and sold by Wellcome. The first example is house fly control. The group visit a local rubbish tip in order to establish the fly vector and then the tip is sprayed from the back of a trailer. Next cockroach control is tackled in a hospital kitchen, then mosquito larvae control in a river, then mosquitos, then stored food stuffs in a warehouse, followed by bed netting treatments, then house fly control in Banjul market using a push-along sprayer, then rodent control using bait trays (dead rodents are seen). The last test was for mosquito control with a defogger. Finally the group train Gambians in the use of the equipment.
