Description
Previously catalogued as a picture of Saint Anthony of Padua. On the ground is the tablet emblazoned with the IHS device (Name of Jesus) which Saint Bernardino of Siena carried with him and showed to the crowds attending his sermons (Réau, loc. cit.). In the background, a bull is on the rampage in a city
