Description
Transmission electron micrograph showing
granulocytes (basophils) that have invaded the
corneal stroma of a patient with herpes simplex
keratitis. The lamellar organisation of the
collagenous matrix is disrupted. The nuclei are
approximately 2-3nm in diameter.
