Description
See this catalogue no. 581519i (BM Sat no. 4124) for details of Cumberland's death. The Pope, devil and Young Pretender lie on their backs at the Duke's feet and sides in commemoration of the victory (which was led by the Young Pretender) over the Jacobites at the battle of Culloden Moor, 16 April 1746
