Description

One of Pear's many magazine inserts, probably from the 1880s, advertising Pears' Soap. It consists of 2 illustrations on a pale green background. In the first a young, fair-haired boy is scowling and climbing over the rim of a metal bath, his attention firmly fixed on a cake of Pears' Soap on the carpet. In the second one he is smiling happily with the soap in his left hand.
