Date inferred from catalogue of the sale of the museum of John Coakley Lettsom held on 2 May 1816, which described "Lot 50 Ditto [Drawings, Landscapes, &c. in colours], the Comeer or Aligator of Bengal - Gurrial of the Ganges, &c. high finished drawings, in colours, by Mos. Harris, &c."
