Description
The first item on the programme is about the Black Death. Modern epidemiologists are now questioning what the disease, which spread rapidly through Europe between 1347 and 1351, was and what caused it. The second item on the programme is about Sir Peter Mansfield, recently awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine, and MRI scanning.
