About this work
Description
The programme contains four items. The first is about how something as simple as an alarm clock to wake one up might help someone suffering from depression. The second item is about how the brain responds to different colours and shape and questions our mental concepts of beauty. The third item is on obedience and Raj Persaud meets Dr. Thomas Blass, a social psychologist looking into the life and work of Stanley Milgram. The final item is about secrets, whether in the school playground or in government offices, secretive behaviour is always all around us. Is it better to hide or share a secret and how does it affect our emotional needs?
