Description
Assumed to be set in Buxton, Derbyshire, as an inference from the existence in Buxton Museum of several works by this artist. There were at least three military hospitals in Buxton in World War I
He wears "Convalescent blues", a jacket and trousers issued to convalescent soldiers in one size only
