Creator/production credits
Thought in the 18th century to be Venetian (the work of Giorgione or Sebastiano del Piombo). Subsequently controversially attributed to Raphael around the date when this print was produced with that attribution. "La resa tonale del Morghen, estremamente raffinata, interpreta felicemente il carattere veneziano del dipinto" (Bernini Pezzini, loc. cit.)
