Liz Buttle was 60 when she had her son with new partner Peter Rawstrom after having lied about her age at a fertility clinic. However although she is well over the average age to become a mother, more mothers in general are choosing to have children later in life. Kathleen Campbell was 55 when she had her last son, making her the oldest mother to conceive naturally. Various older mothers are interviewed as well as fertility specialists.
