A copy, with English text and the composition reversed, after one of several similar French and/or German works published in 1832. A German version is reproduced by Holländer, loc. cit., with lettering "Aus Saphirs Zeitschrift der deutsche Horizont" and attribution by Holländer to "Maler Joseph Petzl, 1832, zum Vorwurf eines Gemäldes genommen (erschienen bei Cotta)"
