Lust for life.

Filmmaker Heather Leach turns her camera on herself as she faces a diagnosis of thyroid cancer and the subsequent treatment and recovery. Following the thyroidectomy operation Heather becomes depressed, her health deteriorates, her family relationships become strained and she spends time deciding what course the rest of her life should take. She makes an art work out of her cancerous thyroid and grows close to 'Big Anne' a family friend who is battling leukaemia. As Heather's life improves, Big Anne dies and Heather describes how Anne helped her to decide how to move on with her own life.
